One of the challenges in programming new music is accessibility and exposure. Both students and teachers are often reluctant to try music that they have not heard or do not have experience performing. There is incredible music out there by a vast array of talented, diverse composers that many trombonists have not heard and do not want to buy without knowing more about it. Knowing this, I decided to create a resource where I would record short snippets of pieces. The intent of this project is to give trombonists an idea of what the piece might sound like, difficulty level, etc. so that they have the confidence to purchase the music and program it. These are not performance recordings and only display the trombone part; however, it is my sincere hope that hearing these clips will encourage students and teachers alike to purchase the actual music and record the pieces!

Check back soon! Recordings are on their way.
